Ocean Beige, also known as Gohareh Limestone, is a natural limestone from Khorramabad, Iran, renowned for its soft cream-to-beige. Premium grades display a smooth, uniform surface while lower grades may feature subtle brown veining .
This sedimentary stone has high calcium carbonate content, making it softer than marble, and thus ideal for interior use, away from direct sunlight and high moisture . It offers diverse finishes—honed, polished, leathered, sandblasted, bush-hammered, and tumbled—to suit various design needs . The honed finish, in particular, minimizes glare and offers slip resistance, making it perfect for high-traffic interior floors .
